Essay

The research is dedicated to a complex study of the intra-hepatic topography of the venous structures and their inter-relations in the prenatal period of ontogenesis and in newborns. Owing to the use of most informative methods of morphologic investigations it is possible to trace the dynamics of the embryotopography of the hepatic venous structures during early human ontogenesis with regard for the segmental structure of the organ. The peculiarities of the structure and variants of topography of all the venous structures of the liver in fetuses and newborns have been determined.
