Essay

The thesis is devoted to research of the formation period of a new kind teacher in condition of the building and strengthening of a totalitarian system referring to the specific characters of this in Donbass. The teacher's role in ukrainization of educational establishment and elimination of illiteracy among the adults, the system of pedagogical education and the repressions regarding teachers as the main factors of social and cultural life denationalization in 1930s were considered, preliminary calculations of the political repressions victims among Donbass teachers in 1933-1938 were made in this work.
