The thesis is devoted to the history of Donbas national minorities in 1920's - 30's of the XX century. It covers ethno-social, economical and national-cultural development of national minorities. It's established that in the 20's - 30's the assimilating processes in Ukraine became stronger. Administrative, socio-economical, migration policy of Soviet government, repressions were the main factors of the life denationalization in the country. National-cultural revival couldn't overcome strong assimilating influence of the Russian language.
