Object of investigation:land for the agricultural purpose; Aim of investigation:working out of the scientific principles of management by the rational use and protection of the land resourse for the agricultural purpose under the conditions of the land reforming realization; Methods of investigation:statistic and economic, monographic, cartographic, balanse; Theory and practice results: the prinsipal trends of improvement of management by way of rational use and protection of the agricultural land resourse are defined; Innovation: the main theoretical and methodical principles of the rational and ecology safe land use as well as its protection are formulated; Introduction degree: the research results are utilized in 19 elaborated projects of allotment of the collective property land of the I.-Frankivs'k region; Utilization sphere: the state legislative and executive power bodies responsible for the land reform.
