Essay

In the thesis national liberation struggle of the Ukrainians in the Eastern Halichyna in 1918-1921 is investigated. The main attention in the research is paid to the military operations of WUPR. Emphasis is made on the participation of WUPR at the Paris Peace Conference, where the issue of "the eastern borders of Poland" had been solved. The author retraces connection between the resolution of the Conference and events at Ukrainian-Polish front in january-july 1919. The consequences of the Ukrainian-Polish war, which were bases first and foremost on losing the territory by the Halychans, are studied.
