Object - the system of pupils' labour training at (secondary) compulsory in Ukraine in II half of XX century. Purpose - to retrace the developing tendencies of the system of pupils' labour training at compulsory schools; the efficiency of its function under new socio-economical condition. Methods: theoretical analysis of the literary sources, pupils' labour training problems, comparing analysis, classification, generalization, systematizing, content - analysis. Results of investigation can be used in improvement of pupils' labour training at modern school, in raising the level of labour teachers' shill, in teaching such courses as "The History of Pedagogic", "Pedagogic", "Social Pedagogic", in elaborating programs of specialized courses for students, ets.
