Dyka O. Immunoreactivity the calves of different ages vaccinated with Salmonella antigen

The subject of investigation: cows, young cattle, calves of 5-7 days to 2 month of age. The dissertation devoted to the improving the methods of specific prevention of salmonellosis in calves. The basis of the methods is studying the immunoreactivity on the introduced antigen. Methods: clinical, immunological, biochemical. There was established the serovariant content of Salmonella in calves: the leading types of the Salmonella are S.dublin, S.enteritidis and S.typhimurium. New dates: it was experimentally substantiated the serological method of salmonellawearing calves determination using the developed and proposed by the author Salmonella antigen. On the basis of studying the indices of immunoreactivity and natural resistency there were proposed the optimal times of calves vaccination by developed inactive, polivalent, antisalmonella antigen. Proposition: inactive antigen and optimal times for vaccination the calves against the Salmonellosis. Instillment: the materials of dissertation were used in m ethodical recommendation "Dispanserisation of cattle" that were approved by STC of the Main board of Veterinary Medicine of Agriculture Ministry of Ukraine.
