Essay

This thesis contains the philosophic analysis of the problem of eschatology and utopia in the interpretation of history. The mounting of the notion about historical perspective has been investigated in the context of "axial time" when the presentations of transcendental realm and its variations have been formed, and it made possible to distinguish the sphere of the spiritual tention between the metabeing and its immanent level. The peculiarity of the settlement of this "conflict" between two grounds of being has been associated with the specifity of human self-determination in the world and the definitions of the strategies of historical understanding which are resulted from the eschatological hopes (Christian model of history) and the utopian projects (rational tradition of determination of the historical sense).
