Khruslov B. The politikal activites of the Ukrainian national-demockatic association 1912-1939

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of historic development of the Western-Ukrainian national democracy, in fact the Ukrainian national-democratic association in 1925-1939 years. The authot in the dissertation analysed in complex the main stages of the organized political and ideological formation of the UNDA threw light upon its role and plasce in the social-political life of Western Ukraine. The spectrum of influences and reletions of UNDA with different parties and organizations of the region was exposed. The new vision of the political evolution of the party the main point of its political conceptions were proposed. The main directions of the political policy of the UNDA, the forms and methods of its activities were defined. The results of the scientific investigations make it possible to make the conclusion, that it was the national democracy in the 20th century, that played the leading role in the struggle for the national and political liberation of the Ukrainian people, the construction ofth e independent sovereign Ukrainian state
