Scientific and methodological principles in research in the field of markiting geography have been developed in this thesis. The term "marketing geography" has been introduced into national scientific terminology and its essence has been shown. The necessity of the bevelopment of marketing geograohy as a result of introduction of market regulation of the economy and the oricess humanization of the giography in Ukraine has been tneoretically proved. The place of marketing geography in the structure of human geography has been defines.
