Subject of the research - musical-and-aesthetic activity of students of Aesthetic upbringing Department. Purpose of the research - to determine the pedagogic conditions of effective formation of future teachers readiness for musical-and-aesthetic activity. Methods of research are theoretical, empirical. Theoretical results and novelty: for the first time, essence of the concept "readiness for musical-and-aesthetic activity" is researched and substantiated on the scientific base; its specific nature and place in the structure of a teacher's personality is determined; pedagogic conditions of formation of students readiness for musical-and-aesthetic activity are substantiated; the program of gradual formation of students readiness for musical-and-aesthetic activity is developed. Practical results: methodology of holding of individual and group lessons that provides for complex influence on formation of students readiness for musical-and-aesthetic activity is developed; the experimental program of creativ e development of a student's personality in different kinds of musical-and-aesthetic activity is developed and introduced into educational practice. Effectiveness of introduction is high. Field of use is pedagogic, higher education establishments.
