The issue of transformations in Western-Ukrainian village caused by the introduction of the collective-farming system is researched in the dissertation. The tools and procedure of collective farms' creation are described, collective farms being the social political basis of soviet totalitarianism in the villages of Western regions. The aim and objectives of soviet organizational, production and technical reconstruction of agriculture and the introduction of nation-wide and collective farm system of exploitation of agricultural workers are explained.
