Essay

The object of study - activity of O.P.Novitsky. The objective of study is to analyze the personal contribution of O.P.Novitsky in the Ukrainian science. Comparative and chronological methods have been used. The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of O.P.Novytsky's great contribution to protection of Ukrainian historical and cultural heritage. Different documents are used in the dissertation among them there are archival closed materials, giving deep information about O.P.Novytsky's personality and outlook. The special attention is given to his activity in developing Ukrainian Museum Management Studies. And his fruitful scientific and organizing work in the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
