Boyechko V. The Border-Bank Territories in the Genesis, Evolution and Social Formation of Ukrainian Kozaks (the second half 15th century - the mild of the 17th century).

This dissertation studies the role of tistorical process with took place on the border right-bank territories in the genesis, evolution and social formation of Ukrainian Kozaks since the second talf of the 15th century till the mid of the 17th century. The genesis, evolution and social formation of Ukrainian Kozaks are considered againdt the background of Ukrainian ethnic and cultural history. The study demonstrates continuity of the process of state formation on the autothonomous treeitories inhabited dy Ukkrainians since they settled in Eastern Europe. Each territory is described with regard to itd dpecific regional features and history, and the contribution of the ethnic area to shaping the Ukrainian ethos.
