The dissertation gives the socio-philosophical analyses of the stereotypes and orientation, showing the specifity of the workd-view and economic behaviour of Ukrainians. The dissertation describes sense and meaning of the tern "Economic Mentality". The work analysed main features of Ukrainians economic mentality, factors of developments and transformation. The dissertation proves that the economic mentality play the great role in the choice of a mode of socio-economic modernization.
