Essay

In the thesis the Lviv eparchy's church-administrative structure and activities in the XVIth - at the beginning of the XVIIth century are examined. On the basis of archival and published sources the system of eparchial institutions' functioning, the features of church legal traditions in Galicia, it is a new approach to studying of history of the Brotherhood movement in Lviv and the eparchy. It is shown that application of theological principles and methods for studying of Church history's questions is necessary one.
