the dissertation is devoted to population-and-genetic investigations of Pinus sylvestris L., Pinus mugo Turra and Pinus cembra L. in the Ukrainian Carpathians and Roztochiye using isozymes as mollecular-genetic markers. The mean value of Nei's genetic distance (DN) for four populations of P.sylvestris was 0,008 and it was 0,018 for five P.mugo populations. It was revealed that 96,8% and 97,8% of genetic variation in P.mugo and P.sylvestris accordingly account for intrapopulation and only 3,2 and 2,2% make up interpopulation one.
