Essay

Process of purification water in thin-settlers. Intensification of small productivities compact plants for purifying contaminated waters. Methods of investigations are methods of theoretical and experimental research. A new construction of a thin layer settler with helical shelves has been developed and studied. The empirical constants have been determined for relationships characterizing the water purification process in settlers. The recommendations have been elaborated for designing and operating settlers. Results of the thesis have been used in designing water treatment plants of Volyn.
