Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the decision of the actual issue of increasing the efficiency of the biological phosphorus removal process during wastewater treatment. The results obtained are: the kinetic parameters of the process (specific speed, inhibition by nitrate) and their dependence on the physical and chemical parameters of the process are established, as well as the phosphate accumulation capacity of the unadapted (regular) sludge in laboratory studies of phosphatase of sewage under anaerobic conditions is determined; in laboratory studies, deep removal of phosphates from urban sewage has been achieved; on existing plants it was established that there is a reciprocal correlation between phosphorus concentration in wastewater and its ORP; it is proved that for the control of the phosphatization and dephosphatation process it is more correct to use quantitative correlation characteristics not with absolute values of ORP, but between the change of the ORP medium (ΔORP) and the change in the concentration of phosphorus orthophosphates (ΔP-PO4); improved simulation computer program "EcoSim"; the technical and economical-ecological calculation of the developed technical solutions for implementation of the scheme of deep removal of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds with the implementation of energy saving measures for the ChernigivVodokanal utility is performed.
