Haiduchok O. Improvement of the efficiency of the facilities for the treatment lowturbidity colored water

The main results of this research work are: the most significant factors that influence the efficiency of dissolved air flotation process are identified; the method of determination has been developed and the numerical values of the flotation process constant for the solid particles which contain in surface water are obtained; mathematical model of the flotation process, which includes the design and technological parameters of work (bubble diameter, size of solid particle, flow velocity, height of working area, air concentration in water) has been developed and modified; on the basis of numerical studies the improvement of the structure of a flotation tank with variable in height section was substantiated to improve the quality of cleaning; the reliability of the results of theoretical studies is confirmed by satisfactory convergence with the data obtained at the experimental installation. The results of the research are used in solution for surface water treatment in companies as «Kharkiv Vodokanalproekt» PLC and «PROMINVESTPROEKT» LLC.
