Essay

The dissertation is devoted to scientific substantiation and development more effective and improved methods of calculations joint operation water structures considering change of their characteristics during operation the system for developing energy saving measures to ensure drinking water supply from underground sources. The paper evaluates the efficiency of water intake wells, which draw water from the pressure and pressureless aquifers when changes in the characteristics of structures, and also establishes regularities of the influence of various factors on the reduction of water supply from wells during operation. Numerical and analytical calculation methods of the water supply system from underground sources have been developed taking into account changes in the characteristics of pumps, pipelines, well filters. Dependencies have been established to determine the basic parameters of automated systems with hydropneumatic installations, which provide an economical operation mode of the pumps. Expediency of application enhanced designs filters water wells and new technological schemes and designs water deferrization stations have been scientifically substantiated and experimentally confirmed. The theory and methods of calculating the joint work of pumps, water supply networks and reservoirs in tower and non-tower water systems have been further developed. A simulation model is proposed and a method of simulation modeling of the water supply system is developed, which allows to analyze different variants of water supply and to establish the composition and operation modes of structures while minimizing the specific costs of electricity for water supply to consumers. The results of the dissertation research are included in the normative documents and implemented at a number of existing enterprises.
