The object of the research are educational grounds of V.O.Sukhomlyns'kyi's pedagogical inheritance. The methods are comparison, compare, retrospective analysis, synthesis, integration, generalisation. The results of the research are the total analysis of the leading ideas of V.O.Sukhomlyns'kyi in the field of the personality's upbringing within the schoolchildren's collective was done; its evolution was observed; the essence, features of the collective and the ways of formation of the collective, which brings up were emphasized, the conditions of successful educational influence of the schoolchildren's collective on the personality were learned; the mechanism of the upbringing of the personality in the schoolchildren's collective was offered.
