The question of the functioning and development of the verb and noun systems in the literary relics of the XVII c. and defines the peculiarities of this development on the basis of the language of the Yesypovsky litopys. Functioning of the verb and noun forms in this research is analyzed on the basis of various editions written in the brief period of time. On the basis of the constructive and comparative analysis, the work identifies the nature of exchange and transformation of these forms in the editions and types of the litopys articles.
