Essay

The pharmacoeconomic study was open, prospective, randomized, IY a phase study. For treatment patients with nonsevere community acquired pneumonia midecamycin, azithromycin and amoxicillin/clavulanate were used. As preparation of comparison - penicillin G. In the patients with severe community acquired pneumonia amoxicillin/clavulanate, cefamandole and ceftriaxone were used. For comparison we chose antibacterial therapy, traditional for hospital. The results of the pharmacoe-conomic analysis by a cost-minimization analysis justify application of midecamycin per os for the patients with nonsevere community acquired pneumonia. Realization of pharmacoeconomic study for the patients of second group was carried out by cost-effectiveness analysis and cost-minimization analysis. For servicemen with severe community acquired pneumonia it is most expedient to apply empirical step-down monotherapy by protected aminopenicillins (amoxicillin/clavulanate).
