Essay

In this Thesis the essence of water-resources potential as a regional factor of social and economic development was revealed. Opportunities of its qualitative and quantitative assessment were shown. The value of water-resources potential in development of water consumption system and production forces of the region at the oblast level was substantiated. Methodology of water management zoning was represented. 7 water management areas in Kharkiv Oblast were allocated on its base. On the assumption of the particularities of water management balances, water consumption structure, qualitative and quantitative state of water-resources potential and others the recommendations to rationalize regional water assumption system were developed.
