In the dissertation the problem of Greek catholic church life of Galician diocesia in the period of German occupation is investigated. The religious and church policy of Nazi occupational regime, which was directed to the restriction of religious activities of the Church and its influence among Ukrainian people were described. The activities of GCC, directed to consolidation of Ukrainian church life and activisation of ecumenical movements and the place of GCC in the process of national revival of Ukrainian nation were analyzed in the dissertation. In Ukrainian historiography this dissertation is an importaut investigation of social activities of Greek Catholic church in the period of German occupation.
