The dissertation is devoted to evalution of the chickpea germplasm collection of different origin under southeru Ukraine. Enviroment the best genetical donors of early maturity, productivity, seed quality, the resistance to fusarium have been described. Chickpea variety model has been worked out for the South of Ukraine. The nature of the main agronomic traits has been studied in segregating hybrid population. The new breeding lines with complex agronomic traits have been developed. Key words: chickpea, productivity, early maturity, resistance to fusarium, seed quality.
