TYMOShENKO I. The readers of public libraries of Ukraine: main directions of learning (1900 - 1930, XX centuries).

In the thesis, on the basis of historiography and source cal science analysis the main stages and directions of learning the readers of public libraries in frameworks of described of chronology have been determined.If is justified, that the learning of the readers of public libraries was carried out in a public - informative direction, is characterised as lighting in periodic printing of problems of the contents both features of reading and effect on creation of public opinion for the benefit of availability of reading to all layers of the population and librarian and sociological (was derive as a result of integration of questionnaire structural and librarian-statistical directions).If has been (determined), that the Ukraine-centred policy, despite of it the certain limitation, has rendered significant influence on to the development of researches libraries readers structure. In a thesis the activities Ukrainian library scientists on creation the terminological system, theoretical bases and approbatio n of readers studying techniques have been considered.
