Yavorska U. The library and bibliography activity of Ivan Kreveckyі's

In the dissertation the complex research of the main stages and directions of forming of creative heritage and library activity of I. Krevetskyi was accomplished basing on the archival and printed sources. The main pages of the scientist's biography were recreated, the process of Krevetskyi's formation as a scientist, librarian and bibliographer was followed. Special attention was paid to opening of the main directions and results of Krevetskyi's work in the library of Naukove tovarystvo named after T. Shevchenko (NTSH) in Lviv and Vsenarodna library of Ukraine (VLU) in Kyiv in political, economical and cultural process context which were taking place in the country. In the dissertation detailed thematic-typological analysis of numeral bibliographical heritage of Krevetskyi was carried out which includes more than 230 opinions in general, published in magazines - "Zapysky NTSH", "Literaturno-naukovyj Vistnyk", "Nova zoria". As a result of the dissertation bibliographical guide of Krevetskyi's works wascreated, more than 500 works were registered and systematized in chronological order.
