Klymenko E. Musical "krukova" manuscript books of the XІI - the beginning of the ХХ century in Ukraine. Basic principles of historical codycology description.

The dissertation is dedicated to the comprehensive historical-codycological, generalised palaeographic and musical-phalaeographic research of the "krukova" manuscript book in Ukraine from the ХІІ till the beginning of the ХХ century. The author detected and investigated "krukova" manuscript books from the Institute of Manuscript VNLU; carried out their identification and attribution with the help of codycology, codycography, textology, palaeography, musical phalaeography and filigreenology methods; identified basic methodical principles and specific features of the codycological description of divine service singing manuscript books. The dissertation defines specifics of musical manuscript related to graphic writing, orthography of hymnographic texts, ornament styles, external typography system, structural typology, contents, notations and musical features.
