Operation process of railway stations. To elaborate a technique of optimization of the longitudinal profile of station ways for rise of efficiency of maintenance of railway stations, and methods and tools for computer aids design of their formation. Method of researching: imitative and statistical simulation of operation processes, geometrical simulation of plane and space objects, nonlinear programming. The effect of the longitudinal profile on metrics of operation of stations is researched. Is built functional models of stations and geometrical models of their formation, which one allow to link between slopes of the longitudinal profile and operating cost. The task of optimization of the longitudinal profile is formalized and resolved as the task of nonlinear programming with linear limitations. The work's results can be used by railways for a technical and economic estimation of the present longitudinal profile of stations and in project organizations at execution of the projects of renovation orbui lding of new stations.
