In the theses the factors that caused the armed struggle of peasants in Right-Bank Ukraine in 1919 have been analyzed. The process of organization of rebel detach-ments and the beginning of their struggle against soviet power have been studied. The process of formation of social-political ideology of the rebel movement has been ob-served and the reason which made impossible the consolidation of rebel forces under the united leadership had been found out. Achievements and losses of the rebel peas-ants in struggle against bolshevic's power have been generalized. The rebel movement in Right-Bank Ukraine in 1919, the background of which were Ukrainian rural areas, no doubt proves that it is a complete invention of the soviet propaganda about the fact that the bolshevic's dictatorship in Ukraine pre-tends to be only the Ukrainian phenomenon. The dictatorship is brought and forced upon Ukraine with the power of the Moscow's bolshevic bayonets. The history of peasant rebel movement in Right-Bank Ukraine canno t be considered otherwise than one of the attempts of peasant to find their own way in the rebel-lion, to claim to be the force which wants free democratic development based on private peasant farming. Both the dictatorship of landlords and the dictatorship of proletariat were alien to the rebel movement. The movement cannot be spoken about as a rebel terror, not mentioning the "white" and "red" terror. Spontaneous in its nature the movement was not united in initiative and displays, it didn't have the general headquarters and the general framework. The ideological program documents and aims were also not sta-ble. Only in some periods of the rebellion the advantages of certain ideological ten-dencies were found out. These advantages were based on the principles of self-identification and the independence of the Ukrainian nation. The ideology and the goal of the rebel movement in Ukraine were cleared out in the statements of the leaders of the detachments in their appeals, orders, manifests and letters to thep opulation, to the government of the Ukrainian People's Republic, to the soviet power. All these factors are studied in the dissertation.
