Morphogenesis of tubular bones under the influence of polyethylene glycols and their drivatives is studied on the model of femoral fracture in rats. The tests were carried out with the aseptic fracture as well as the one complicated by infection. It is shown that local introduction of these polymers changes the correlation of tissue components in callus maturation. It is established that rate and manifestation of osteogenesis depend on the chemical structure and the characteristics of these substances. It is confirmed that polyethylene oxide 400 and polyethylenepropylene oxide 1500 may be used in the treatment of fracture wounds.
