Essay

The paper gives the scientific substantiation of composition and formulation of a drug created for the first time for the local treatment of joints inflammatory diseases. This drug is in the form of emulsion, the active substance of which is analben (2,4 - dichlorbenzoic acid potassium salt), a new original Ukrainian drug belonsing to the group of non-narcotic analgesic and non-steroid antiinflammatory medication due to its pharmacological properties. The methods for quality control of the drug preposed have been developed and its stability while storing has been proven. The normative and technical documentation has been given. A specific inflammatory activity and safety of the drug have been studied in biological research.
