Essay

The Thesis constitutes a study of a topical problem in modern linguistics, namely description of a fragment of the linguistic world picture on the basis of analysis of a fragment of the conceptual world picture - the concept-sphere of time. The work examines the basic clauses of the field structures theory on the material of the vocabulary related to the temporal designation field. In the course of the study the structure, the organizational pattern of the temporal designations semantic field as well as functioning features of its constituent units are determined. Adjacent semantic fields are discovered; zones of their intersection with the studied semantic field are discovered and described.
