The object of study - process of formation and realization in life of the Soviet policy with respect to religious confessions in the 1920s. The purpose of study - to study essence and features of policy of the Soviet power, which was carried out with respect to religious confessions of Crimea in a context of a political situation of the 1920s. The problem-chronological, historical-comparative, critical analysis of sources methods have been used. The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the policy of the Soviet power with respect to religious confessions of Crimea in 1920s. The ways of formation, main directions, forms and methods of the work of the bodies of the Soviet power of Crimean ASSR in the field of the control of activity of religious organizations are considered. The realization of anti-religious propaganda and agitation on a peninsula, reaction of the believers and anti-religious actions of the authorities are investigated. The reasons of the special approach of the bodies of the Soviet power to Moslem confession, granting to it a number of concessions and privileges in the middle of 1920-th are revealed. The influence of the split in Russian Orthodox Church on the relations between orthodox religious organizations and power structures in Crimea is shown. The features of political tactics of authorities with respect to religious communities of national minority and sects of a peninsula are considered.
