Essay

Complex investigation of 167 children with bronchial asthma and/or allergic rhinitis and 51 children without attributes of allergic diseases is carried out. Rotational prick test with compact-lancets identifies hypersensitivity household allergens in 91,5% of cases and pollen allergens – in 93,8%. Results of testing do not depend on a material of lancets (metal or plastic) and their modification (with liquid or dry allergens). The rotational test as compared with scarification test is more specific (quantity of pseudopositive reactions is 3,8-7,8% and less as compared with 13,9-14,2% of scarification test), safe, unified and cheap.
