Object of research: pollinosis in the presence of rhino-conjunctival and broncho-obstructive syndromes; purpose - increasing the effectiveness of diagnostics and therapy of patients with pollinosis by means of study of its regional peculiarities, optimization of diagnostical methods, development of new schemes of allergen-specific immunotherapy conducting , creation of clinical and immunological criteria of estimation of its effectiveness and grounds of treatment duration; research methods: allergological anamnesis, physical examination, skin prick-test with different pollen allergens, investigation of functions of external respiration, instrumental otorhinolaryngological examinations, laboratory biochemical and immunological methods, statistical; novelty: first ever due to allergy screening of 10 000 adults it has been investigated spread of all-year and seasonal allergic rhinitis in large industrial city, which significantly exceeds official statistics data. Clinical and economical advantages of allergen-specific immunotherapy versus standard pharmacotherapy both by total cost of applied treatment scheme and by "cost/efficiency" ratio have been proved.
