In dissertation the preconditions, motion and 1932-33 famine consequences on Podillya аre investigated. Using numerous archives materials, the author brings to linght specific peculiarities of famine on Podillya in the context of All-Ukrainian events at the end of 20s and at the beginning of 30s of the 20th century. On base of wide factological material the decline processes of productive forces of Podillya village, disorganisation of agriculture, catastrophic impoverishment of masses are analysed. The veritable causes of wide scale tragedy of 1932-1933 on Podilla are cleared up, namely: collectivisation, dispossess of kulaks, state grain purchases, which left the peasants of Podilla without feeding products. Considerable attention is paid to famine peculiarities in borderland and its multinationality. It raged both in Ukrainian and in Polish villages and Jewish settlements towns of Podillya. An attempt to examine the complex of political-economic arrangements directed to overcome the consequences of1932-33 famine on Podillya was made. The growth of famine phenomena in Podilla villages was retraced; the amount of persons, destroyed by starvation of 1932-1933 on Podilla in whole was counted. On the whole from hunger died for about 800,000. Hunger of 1932-1933 in Ukraine and Podillya is the act of genocide against Ukrainian people.
