The thesis is devoted to the study and analyzing of the phraseological units that denote speaking in the phragmatic aspect. The statys of the phragmatic aspect in the meaning of a phraseological unit is proved in the research, the relation between the situation, the meaning and the connotation is determined on the material of phraseological semantic group "Speaking". The basic analysis of the phraseological units with the meaning "Speaking" has been carried out, their semantic classificasion with involving of the pragmatic aspect has been made.
