Essay

The results of studies point on expediency of the use of surgical absorbable threads made of dura mater biofil and its modification with ethonium for the operations on bladder instead of catgut. It allows to avoid both early postoperative complications (parting and suppuration of suture, infiltration and forming of fistulas) and late (formation of rough fibrous cicatrix deforming urinary bladder and lowering its functional activity). The use of standard threads of biophil and threads modified with ethonium is especially expedient for urological operations connected with accompanying pathologies, for oncological and weakened patients as these threads have marked biological activity and stimulate the healing. And even under the condition of aggressive medium (urine) the friable thin cicatrix is developed, on which there is no salt deposition, lithiasis
