The dissertation is devoted to research of the historically generated natural and socio economic generality of village and urban district. Is complemented and the concept of a generality " village and urban district " and its function in territorial organization and management of a community is profound. The technique of complex social-geographical research of development generality for needs of territorial management is developed. The complex social -geographical analysis of mutual development of village and urban districts Melitopol region in conditions of transition to the market is carried out.
