Essay

Object of research is cities and towns in Galicia during the period of the XVI th. - XVII th. centuries. Subject of research - is social and economic development of cities and towns during this period. According to this the author take a look at the following problems social and historical circumstances of Galician cities and towns existence, theirs administrative and legal state (situation), the peculiarities of city trades and holds development and also the role of Galician cites in the home and foreign trade of Rich Pospolyta. These problems give an opportunity to expose the object of research. The aim of scientific paper: complex and object analysis peculiarities of social and economic towns and cities in Galicia during the period of the XVI th. - XVII th. centuries peculiarities. Methods: comparative and historical, problem and chronological, statistical. Result: The influence of agrarian and defensive factor in all spheres of life in Galician cites and towns. It is stated that the majority ofcities, were in a private property (72,2%) According to the legal status. The inference of Magdebourgh right on ordering the structure of self-government city is found out. The essence of rontinization and legalization and their role in the transformation of classicial model in German municipal law is exposed. The action of elements of legal relations in the system of self-government city of royal cities is proved. The evolution of trade production in the connection of technical progress, the leading role of crafts in the development of market relations. Use^ scientific, political, pedagogical activity.
