Postavnycha M. The development of the historical study of local lore in Cherkаssy region in 50-e-90-e of the XХ century

The object of study - in this dissertation on the ba???? sis of broad circle of sources, most of which were introduced for the first time, the development of historical study of local lore in Cherkassy region in 50-s - 90-s of the XX century is investigated in details. The basic tendencies and the specific character of the development of historical and regional study movement are analyzed. The main directions, forms and methods and concrete practical results are determined in the Dissertation. The work includes materials about the valuable contribution into historical science of some amateurs and scientists. Practical recommendations presented in the Dissertation suggest the possibility to use the experience accumulated in the studies of local lore within the late fifties and the nineties of the XX-th century nowadays.
