The thesis is devoted to plate production technological processes design automation. The models for processes and objects of plate production technology design has been developed. The model of knowledge-based subsystem for plate production technological processes design has been created. The production system and linear programming based model of decision-making processes concerning ship plates manufacturing principal technology design has been built. The methods for data and knowledge for a given subject domain storing and processing based on relational database management system have been invented. The knowledge-based system for ship plates manufacturing principal technology design is created. The conception of knowledge-based computer aided design for plate production technological processes has been developed.
