Essay

The author has described the optimal model for such type of enterprise which combines the features of process- and matrix structure and includes the production departments, functional departments and project teams. For designing of structure and functions of the organization the number of methods have been proposed, each of them could be applied in engineering of different parts of the enterprise structure under reforming. The functional-cost analysis has been applied to define profile and non-profile functions in rational organization structures of the enterprise departments. The project management instruments have been used to organize the control of the reforming project. The results have been implemented in OJSC "Kyiwodokanal".
