The origin of the Sich Movement in Halychyna and Bukovyna at the beginning of the 20th century were in explored complex in the thesis. This research analyses the organization process of the first Sich societies. The legal basis of the Sich Movement was analyzed in the thesis. The organization structure and the state of the Halychyna and Bukovyna Sich societies in 1900-1914 was described. The main trends of public activities of Sich societies were characterized.
