Barchuk Z. Regional Patent Resources in Library Collections of Ukraine (1991-2001): History, System, Tendencies of Development

The theme of the dissertation covers theoretical, organizational and technological aspects of formation and functioning of regional patent resources in Ukraine in the conditions of modern state construction and information-and-computer space. The actual task of the present stage of scientific-and-technical and innovational development of Ukraine is construction of a national network of document supply with information of invention, rationalization, innovational activity, licence-and-patent researches, protection of autors rights, protection of the intellectual property objects, interests of users of the intellectual industrial property which may be carried out through system of patent-and-information resources of regional patent collections (RPC). The purpose of dissertational research is what to understand mechanisms of formation of Ukrainian system patent collections and a supply with information of needs of society in the patent information both in a historical context, and at the present stage of 90th years of XX century. The patent-and-resource structure of Ukrainian RPC, its rational componental composition providing requirements of modern patent record-keeping is offered. Scientific principles of development of Ukrainian library-and-bibliographic system of the patent information and the ways its improvement are proved.
