Essay

The activity of the national intelligentsia of Ukraine according to the inclucation of the Ukrainian language of Naddnipryanska Ukraine in the 1900-1917 years was analyzed. The place of language question in the activity of Ukrainian educational societies, the political parties, the language debates in the work of the State Dumas of Russia was analyzed. It was established that the question of expansion the using of Ukrainian language was the component part of the development of the general question of the national-state construction of Ukraine.
