Object - pig Chlamydiosis; purpose - scientific & experimental foundation of using the PCR-method for diagnosing pig Chlamydiosis applying re-agent sets destined for diagnosing human Chlamydiosis, developing methods of taking samples & preliminary processing of samples taken from pigs of different age & sex groups for the mentioned disgnostics method, developing the effective schemes of therapeutic measures at the mentioned infection, launching the given projects into veterinary practice; methods - epizootological, molecular-genetic, bacteriological, morphological, serological; innovation - diagnosing pig Chlamydiosis by means of the polymerase chain reaction is first used in Ukraine being founded scientifically & experimentally; results - developed are "Methodological recommendations for diagnosing pig Chlamydiosis by means of the polymerase chain reaction using the re-agents set of "Litech" company"; the mentioned method is launched into the laboratory practice of veterinary medicine; branch - veterinary microbiology & virology.
